This is the culmination of 40 years of personal research, in collaboration with well over a dozen cats.

This tells the story of the creation of the animals, in which the Creator's own form changes into a new animal with every step of the dance, bringing them into being.

Erik escaped from the early stages of the Deep Life video we made for the Deep Carbon Observatory. We didn't end up including any fish in the video, but I researched and drew several of the species that live in the deepest waters. Erik is downright cuddly next to some of the other residents down there.
